When both W+ and W- decay to produce a
charged lepton and a neutrino we see events containing two
(visible) charged leptons and two (invisible) neutrinos:
Notice that in
events the two observed leptons are not
"back-to-back" as was the case for the events we looked
at earlier in which a Z0 decays to produce a
lepton-antilepton pair. This is because of presence of the
neutrinos in the
events.
Next take a look at some example
events.
